Meet Sarah

Sarah Craft, LCSW
Sarah Craft's life story is one of resilience, empathy, and a deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. Raised in a single-parent household with her younger sister and brother, Sarah faced early challenges that shaped her into the person she is today. At the tender age of 11, she entered the foster care system, a pivotal moment that ignited her passion for social work. Despite the uncertainty of moving from one foster home to another, Sarah held onto a singular dream: to pursue an education that would empower her to help others overcome their own traumas.

From a young age, Sarah understood that adversity could be met with determination, and that the kindness, love, and compassion she longed for as a child could be given to others in need. This profound insight is the foundation of her work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Sarah is known for her remarkable ability to create a safe and nurturing space where her clients feel truly heard and supported. Her empathetic nature and attentive listening allow her to offer care and feedback that is not only compassionate but also deeply impactful.

Sarah's dedication to her clients is matched by her love for life outside of work. She and her husband share their home in Tampa, FL, with their beloved fur baby, Lilly, who brings endless joy to their lives. Sarah is an avid enthusiast of live music, frequently attending concerts and festivals. She also finds solace in the pages of a good book, the excitement of video games, and the thrill of exploring new destinations.

Sarah’s academic journey is as impressive as her personal one. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Anderson University in 2003, and went on to complete her Master's degree in Social Work through Indiana University's advanced standing program in 2004. Over the years, Sarah has made a profound impact on her community, dedicating herself to providing compassionate care to those who need it most. Her work has touched the lives of children in foster care, hospice patients, dialysis patients, and individuals battling severe mental illness.

Sarah Craft's story is a testament to the power of perseverance, empathy, and the unwavering belief that with the right support, healing is always possible.
